Book Worm Cakepops

I made these book worms for a book club gathering this week — they turned out super cute! ๐Ÿ™‚

Each book worm was made with white cake & vanilla frosting rolled into balls & shaped into rectangles to resembles books. They were dipped into black, red & blue candy melts then embellished with white & black candy melts. The worms were made using three green Sixlets for the body & green fondant rolled into a slightly bigger ball for the head; facial details were added using a black food safe marker. They were attached to the books using white candy melts.

Super cute, right? If I were to do it again, I would’ve dyed the white fondant using food colorings to get a shade of green that matched closer to the Sixlets green rather than mixing the white & green fondants I had. But other than that I’m pretty happy with them ๐Ÿ™‚
