4th of July Cakepops

Happy fourth everyone! No better way to celebrate America’s independence than to eat cake! 🙂

Each pop was made with white cake and vanilla frosting split into thirds, dying 1/3 red and 1/3 blue. I made each third of cake its own balls & then split each ball into thirds – combining 1/3 red ball, 1/3 white ball & 1/3 blue ball to make 1 whole red, white & blue cake ball! I then dipped 1/3 of the multi-colored balls into red candy melts, 1/3 into white candy melts & 1/3 into blue candy melts. I wasn’t trying to be too fancy with these, so no extra candies were used, only candy melts in a piping bag and a toothpick for fine tuning. Watch the video below for more details!
