Easter Basket Cakepops

Happy Easter Everyone!

Each Easter basket is chocolate cake and chocolate frosting rolled into balls then molded into a short, fat cylinder shape. They’re dipped in brown candy melts and immediately dipped in green cylinder sprinkles to act as the “grass” (confession: I didn’t have green cylinder sprinkles, but I did have yellow ones so I just dyed them green with food coloring). I then attached three jelly bean “eggs” to the middle and a pull-n-peel “basket handle” using the same brown candy melts.

They’re a bit messy because the pull-n-peel wasn’t sticking the greatest for me – as well as the jelly beans on top of the sprinkles –  but they’re still quite cute and get the point across 🙂

Watch how I made them!
