Cookie Monster Cakepops

What better for a toddler’s birthday party than a Sesame Street cakepoppalooza!?

Each pop is made with yellow cake and vanilla frosting rolled into balls then dipped in blue candy melts, immediately adding white sixlets for the eyes and a halved black candy melt disc for the mouth. Once the candies were set enough to where they wouldn’t fall off, I then took a toothpick and poked/swirled the blue candy melt around to add the “furry” texture of the puppet before it dried completely. Afterwards, the eyeball details were added with black candy melts in a piping bag and a cookie made of brown and black candy melts on wax paper was added to either side of of the mouth.
