Snowman Cakepops

I made these snowmen cakepops for a co-worker’s husband’s birthday this week & how adorable are they?

Each snowman is white cake with vanilla frosting rolled into balls and dipped in white candy melts. Every feature, from the “carrot” noses to the colorful scarves to the buttons, were piped on using candy melts as well. The hats are a mixture of Rolos and mini Reeces Peanut Butter Cups set on a blob of hardened black candy melts while on wax paper, and the earmuffs were made using Pull-n-Peel licorice and small sugar pearls.

If I were to do these again, I would only use Rolos for the hats because they were the perfect size; even though the Reeces PB Cups still worked good, they seemed a bit big compared to the Rolos. I also debated about giving them mouths, but with such a small space to put it in I didn’t want it to feel cluttered and I think they turned out adorable without them šŸ™‚
