Tinkerbell & Periwinkle Cakepops

What better for a sister-shared birthday party, than a sister-shared cakepop theme?! Two adorable little girls just had a Secret of the Wings themed birthday party this summer and I was lucky enough to supply them their cakepops!

Each pop is yellow cake and vanilla frosting rolled into balls and dipped in either white, green or blue candy melts. The pink flowers are made from pink candy melts I piped onto parchment paper. The small snowflakes, wings and the fairy’s profile heads were made the same way. All other embellishments were made just using candy melts and sprinkles.

Even though these were simple and i spilled almost an entire tub of sprinkles all over my kitchen floor for these ones, they turned out super cute and represented the theme well. I mean, you can never go wrong with sprinkles — I mean, fairy dust — right?
